Configure Tier Downgrade

To configure tier downgrade, perform the following steps:

Note: The tier downgrade bulk job runs at midnight. For example, if you set the Tier Validity Period to Jan 1, the system will set the expiry to Dec 31 at 23:59:59. To display expiry as Jan 1, set the fixed date to Jan 2.

1. On Intouch, navigate to Menu > Loyalty+ > Programs.
2. In Programs, select the program you want to edit.
3. Select Edit Program.

4. Select edit icon.
5. In Edit tier, enable Validity.

6. From Downgrade to drop-down, select the desired option.

The drop-down menu provides you with three options:

• One tier below
• An appropriate tier based on eligibility
• The lowest tier

7. Click Done.

Extend available points to the new cycle

If the expiry condition for reward currency is configured as a Tier based expiry date, then points earned in the respective tier will expire when the tier is downgraded or renewed after the renewal check.

Enabling this option allows customers to renew points, which will be renewed along with the tier after the renewal check.
