Timezone handling in Capillary is configuration-driven.

When timezone support is enabled:

UI modules follow a defined and predictable timezone model.
Dates are displayed consistently in the organization timezone.
Timezone selection is available in supported modules.
Unexpected server-time displays are eliminated.

This provides clarity for:

Promotion scheduling
Campaign management
Customer support investigations
Cross-region operations

When Timezone Support Is Not Enabled

If timezone support is not enabled:

Dates may appear in legacy display formats.
Timezone consistency may vary across modules.
Timezone switching options may not be available.

Enabling timezone

For organizations created from 2026 onwards, timezone handling is enabled by default.

For organizations created earlier, you can raise a request with the Capillary Product Support team to enable timezone support for your organization.

The list below explains the module-wise behaviour of date and time fields across the Intouch UI when timezone handling is enabled.

Existing timezone behaviour remains unchanged.
Legacy display or processing logic may still apply.

Future Rollout

Timezone standardisation for some of the above modules is planned as part of ongoing revamp initiatives (for example, Loyalty, Rewards, Import, and Connect+).

These modules are not being deprecated. They will adopt the standardised model in future releases.
